All Of Me
All of me
Why not take all of me
Can't you see
I'm no
good without you
Take my lips
I want to loose them
Take my arms
I'll
never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I go on
dear without you
You took the part
That once was my heart
So why not take
all of me
All of me
Why not take all of me
Can't you see
I'm no
good without you
Take my lips
I want to loose them
Take my arms
I'll
never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I go on
dear without you
You took the best
So why not take the rest
Baby, take
all of me
Body And Soul
You're making me blue
All that you do
Seems unfair
You try not to hear
Turn a deaf ear
To my prayer
It seems you don't
want to see
What you are doing to me
My arms are waiting to caress you
And to my heart they long to press you, sweet heart
My heart is sad and lonely
For you I cry
For you, dear,
only
I tell you I mean it
I'm all for you
Body and soul
I spend my days in longing
And wondering it's me you're
wronging
Why haven't you seen it?
I'm all for you
Body and soul
I can't believe it
It hard to conceive it
That you'd
turn away romance
Are you pretending?
Don't say it's the ending
I wish
I could have one more change to prove, dear
My life a hell you're making
You know I'm yours for just the taking
I'd gladly surrender
Myself to you
Body and soul
Life's dreary for me
Day's seem to be long as years
I've looked for the sun
But can see none
Through my tears
Your heart
must be like a stone
To leave me like this alone
When you could make my
life worth living
By taking what I'm set on giving, sweet heart
My heart is sad and lonely
For you I cry
For you, dear,
only
I tell you I mean it
I'm all for you
Body and soul
Guilty
Is it a sin
Is it a crime
Loving you dear like I do?
If it's a crime than I'm guilty
Guilty of loving you
Maybe I'm wrong dreaming of you
Dreaming the lonely night
through
If it's a crime then I'm guilty
Guilty of dreaming of you
What can I do
What can I say
After I take on the blame
You say you're through
You'll go your way but I'll always feel just the same
Maybe I'm right
Maybe I'm wrong
Loving you dear like I do
If thats a
crime than I'm guilty
Guilty of loving you
Fine And Mellow
My man don't love me
Treats me oh so mean
My man, he
don't love me
Treats me awful mean
He's the lowest man
That I've ever
seen
He wears high-draped pants
Stripes are really yellow
He
wears high-draped pants
Stripes are really yellow
But when he starts in to
love me
He's so fine and mellow
Love will make you drink and gamble
Make you stay out all
night long
Love will make you drink and gamble
Make you stay out all night
long
Love will make you do things that you know is wrong
But if you treat me right daddy
I'll stay home every day
If you treat me right daddy
I'll stay home every day
But you're so mean to
me, baby
I know you're gonna drive me away
Love is just like a faucet
It turns off and on
Love is
just like a faucet
It turns off and on
Some times when you think it's on, baby
It has turned off
and gone
Miss Brown To You
Who do you think is comin' to town
You'll never guess who
Lovable, hugable Emily Brown
Miss Brown to you
What if the rain comes
pattering down
My heaven is blue
Can it be sending me Emily Brown
Miss
Brown to you
I know her eyes will thrill ya
But go slow, oh, oh
Don't
you all get too familiar
Why do you think she's comin' to town
Just wait
and you'll see
The lovable little Miss Brown to you
Is baby to me, yes,
yes
Mark it down
You Better Go Now
You better go now
Because I like you much, too much
You
have a way with you
You ought to know now
Just why I like you very much
The night was gay with you
There's the moon above
And it gives my heart a lot of swing
In your eyes there's love
And the way I feel it must be spring
I want you
so now
You have lips I love to touch
You better go now
You better go,
'cause I like you much, too much
Strange Fruit
Southern trees bear a strange fruit
Blood on the leaves and
blood at the root
Black bodies swingin' in the Southern breeze
Strange
fruit hangin' from the poplar trees
Pastoral scene of the gallant South
The bulgin' eyes and
the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolias sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell
of burnin' flesh
Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck
For the rain to
gather, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the tree to drop
Here
is a strange and bitter crop
Solitude
In my solitude you haunt me
With reveries of days gone by
In my solitude you taunt me
With memories that never die
I sit in my chair
Filled with despair
Nobody could be
so sad
With gloom ev'rywhere
I sit and I stare
I know that I'll soon
go mad
In my solitude
I'm praying
Dear Lord above
Send
back my love
